Brett on the PCT!

Hi. I'm Brett. One day, Lori, my wife, says she wants to teach her way around the world. She's a primary school teacher. The children are grown, graduated college, and on their own. I'm only working seasonally. Well, hmm, okay, let's go.

Now I wander about. And I'm heading out. Out the door. Down the road. Down the trail. Down the river. Here are my stories and some things I've learned along the way. I hope you enjoy them.

    I listened to a talk by, then met the extraordinary healer, clown, and activist Patch Adams at the Oregon Country Fair. He ended his talk by reciting from memory the poem Dies Slowly.

    Who on what? Rajery is a musician. He plays a zither made of bamboo and strings called a valiha. Recently, Rajery performed at Ocean 501 in Toamasina, Madagascar.
